Barnsley’s first-ever festival for children and young people will take place this summer term (Monday 5 June – Friday 21 July), to promote the value of the arts and creativity and raise awareness of Barnsley’s cultural offer.
Fusion’s ‘Festival of Joy’ will shine a spotlight on the fantastic events and initiatives across the borough which provide a platform for the artistic talents of our children and young people.
It will be complemented by Fusion’s new digital platform, as well as being a great opportunity for partners (from education settings, the cultural sector and beyond) to work together to plan high-quality cultural events during the summer term. Find out about the vibrant programme below.
